Trash Collection Services

Effective January 5, 2021, the Town of Stedman discontinued recycling pickup. The Town’s collection service is limited to bagged household trash, which is collected on either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on your location.

Trash collection is available to properties within the Town limits only.

Trash Cans and Collection Requirements

Each eligible in-town property is provided with one trash can for household trash collection.

Property owners may purchase an additional trash can if needed. However, any additional trash can must be compatible with the Town’s automated trash collection equipment. The can must have a front-facing lifting arm or attachment that allows the Town’s garbage truck to lift and empty it.

Please ensure that trash is placed in bags and put inside the designated trash can for collection.

Trash Pickup Schedule

Trash collection takes place on either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on your property’s location within the Town.
